I think Racing as well as I can vouch for the grip problems of the w201 .

On the topic of knock sensing, have you tried it on the m103 and if you have , what knock sensor do you use (I read that the different knock sensors are tuned to different knock frequencies , specific to a given engine ), also where is the best position to mount it ?

Yeah

Yes I have tryed knocksense on M103 and other different engines andit works just great.

I use standard bosch knocksensor on M103 and most other engine allready has knocksensor on the block.

It is a screw on the knocksensemodul to tune the frequincies and it is very easyto tune.

The best position to mount knock sensor is anywhere highest on the block. M103 has allready several places with m10 thread on block

Sorry off topic but it was so fun yesterday and it was streetrace and we was there with our Volvo 240 after one more makeover again.
Changing color and engine

We had no slicks tires so it was a lot off spin but next week it will be slicks but we came second place anyway!

Thanks man!

No it is my friends Rikard work. We work together and he is crazy about tuning volvos!

He is like me and love to make tests with a engines and engines stuff.

Last year he had straight 6 from the Volvo T6 and this year he run 4cyl 16v volvo engine but with the same turbocharger.

His 24v got 686Hp with 1,7 boost.

This year he runs over 2 bar with this engine so it will be nice to get this to the Dyno soon

Yeah, I was wondering if you've turbocharged any 560SECs? I think I remember reading about somebody who supercharged one, but don't remember if anybody has talked about turbocharging one of these.

Thes a page on the web somewhere where someone other than roman and his crew converted a old 450 V8 to EFI. The mercedes mechanical injectors are the same as EV1 mustang injectors so putting them in is the easy part. Engine management is another story. I would think the 450 and 560 would have similar intakes and fuel systems: http://www.hitechengineering.net/DNN/MegaSquirted450slc/Step1StripKJetronicsystemfromengine/tabid/57/Default.aspx

That six has a great long runner intake, what is the C/R ? Compression with boost works best, just keep the lead down.
