Hey everyone,
I have 90,000 miles on my W140 and it's time to replace the shocks. Any input on the Bilstein's???

There the best IMHO

There something I am thinking about switching to just cause the KYB's I have seem to do a great job, but are too extreme in the performance segment. They keep the wheels glued, but have no suspension for softening out the ride. Blisten is the best of both worlds. The sports handle 95% of the KYB, and offer almost 3 times better ride. My quality of ride isn't bad, just that you can feel every irregularity, and the slightest bump is a harsh thump.

I would go Blisten Sports. The best, and MB's use Blisten as well.

I guess they did their research well.

I had a set of Bilstein "Sport" shocks on my 95 E420. They provided a nice, firm ride along with the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. No problems. Want a set for my E430. I recommend them.

As both Sachs/Boge & Bilstein are OE, either would be fine! Bilstein lists only HD in their catalog! OF course with leveling on the rear ONLY Sachs/Boge makes them!
