Need input on 126 Gen1 diff swap
 

This is for my eurospec 83 500SEC.

Currently it has a 2.24(?) LSD, but the clutches are shot and its basically open now. I use the car for an occaisional driver but mostly for autocross and a few track days here and there.

What are my options? I havent been able to find a list yet of what models came with what diffs. I understand the 2nd gen cars mount differently as well- is it just a matter of swapping rear covers or will it not work at all?

I need a bit more off the line oomph.
