I did find a drive shaft shop that will remake my rear axles out of 4340 and shorten my drive shaft. He quoted me $125 for each axle and $125 for each drive shaft segment shortened. It will be more than that since I have to have him pull the axles plus I'd like to have him install a new center bearing an balance the assembly. I also just ordered a set of new CV boots and clamps. Has anyone heard of this company.
