ok so i have some questions about my 380 se i recently got it from my grandfather who personally got it shipped from germany it is all german nothing was touched by american hands. so i have heard the 380 german version is a very special engine. i have even heard that it is more powerful than the american version 500 is that true. i really would just like to know all that i can about the car i love it. and it would be nice to just know more about it.

Its got higher compression than the us models and I think its very close the 500sel's power of the same year. I think it was around 230hp for the us spec 500 and 220-225hp for the euro 380.
