Magnecor Wires Rock, GET THEM!!!

I Just bought a near mint 500 SEC and I replaced cap and rotor and replaced the old coil with a MSD Blaster 2. The car ran a bit better but it really made a big difference when I stopped by the Magnecor factory near Detroit and had the very kind owner make me a set of 8.5 mm wires. My god my car runs so smooth now.
I am in Canada and finding the wires were not easy but I decided to pass by the factory and I am glad I did. Pick up a set of 8.5mm wires, the come in red and there are no silly gimmicks with these wires.

Has anyone else used these wires and what do you think?

Well, the stock system when working properly leads to a Very smooth idle, so I suspect there was something wrong before you made the change. I can see adding a heavier wire on a car w/ forced induction and thus needing a bigger pop from one's coil/wires/plugs etc... But for all the stock cars out there a 7mm solid core wire will More then suffice!

Also, with the new coil and wires you will find your cap and rotor life will decrease quite a bit.

The Stock wire are good but I find that these cars deserve a lil bit more pow from the ignition system, remember the 84 500 SEC was very basic and not a true HEI system. 7mm will do but if the price is the same why go for the inferior ??

Outside of tweaking the engine I just don't see the need...even AMG didn't see the need to bump the wire/coil capacity on the 5.4L DOHC that was available on the early M117's.

From a purely cosmetic standpoint they just look Weird to me @ this point!

Shame you ask now about the spoiler...two have came around a few months ago but nothing since....I'll keep an eye out though.
