How are you Jim? I got a meredes again, a 2.6 liter w201. When I brought it for service I got a ride in a superb green 94 E500. It was just perfect, the way I remembered it

Enjoy yours

Hand my 94 now for one year, of course it spent three months of that getting new sheet metal, fans, radiator, paint, etc. Most fun car I have ever driven.

It’s been three years sine I got my 1992 and to this day I still can’t wait to get in and drive it...fast. Best money I've spent on a car and not one issue to mention - love that! My only regret is not getting it sooner and wasting money on cars I would have passed on knowing that perfection was available.

Although…if Porsche was not involved I might have passed on it. As much as I love Mercedes in general, having this model build by Porsche sold me right away. I love both companies dearly and having one car made by both puts a huge grin on my face 24/7.

Still have the Need 2 Speed

Hi All: Finished a few projects on need2speed this summer, including fitting RDMTek shortened rear LCA's and front camber plates, and a sweet sounding OE non-cat straight pipe (off-road use only) That compliments last year's SL600 Silver Arrow front and rear brake conversion (verrry nice change).

All this finally got that rear camber down to -1 degree !! Sorry Tire Rack.... PS, this picture is before the rear was lowered one more spring pad, now rear is 1cm higher than front.

04 E500 have almost a million miles on Diesels, but this car is something else. Was at the dealership for oil change, they noticed a little oil leak from driver's side of engine, valve cover, fixed them both, evidently a problem with this engine. Other than that, get at least 25-26 mpg, and it handles like a dream.
ron

1st post here, spend time in the diesel discussion for my 77 300D.

Just bought a '94 Limited a few days ago, it's currently at a local independent who is doing a full inspection, after which I will have my shopping list and know how deep a hole I have dug myself! Wonderful beast to drive though, even in Dubai where exotica abounds on the road, people still notice this car as it has presence.
