190-16 differential

Are early 190-16V diff's 3.27 as I seem to remember? also they are "For better traction and more stability the Mercedes 2.3-16 was standard fitted with a 32% limited slip differential." Does this stop wheel spin, and how does it compare to w126 500/560 differentials with regards to traction? I'd like to install a LSD on my w123 and am weighing options.
Later is the 88 version:
"Paris, September 1988 the face-lifted 190 compact class was shown at the Paris Motor Show...Mercedes also introduced the Limited slip (LSD) with an electronically controlled, hydraulically locking differential which activates automatically when required (ASD). The electronic control allows varied amounts of differential lock from the standard 15% right up to 100%. It is not a traction control system however and can only maximize traction rather than prevent wheel spin"
Does this mean if I do not have the electronic controls I should not consider this one? (I think it's a usa version anyways)
Thanks

I saw the ASD on another MB and it involves a hydro tank similar to the SLS. I'm not headed that way.
