Justin, a 5.6l would be more realistic the engine weighs 1000lbs alone so that would make it understeer.

Is the car beyond repair?

You know, I'm sure there's some way to make that engine put HP out. Build it and see what happens, then find something to put it in. This place has a stick conversion:

That is why I prefer the 6.3 M100. It's a looker. Who cares that it has less HP than the 5.6 M117. As a guy once told me who owns a Cessna 195 with a 7 cyl Jacobs radial engine. "It makes all the right noises and has all the right smells".
