oh i did beat that g35 coupe and by a good margin on the same night i raced that merc
i pulled some 3 to 4 cars on him he was stunned for he used to pull on like one car.

I am convinced that my car has atleast some 300hp for my car with me in it is abt 1650kg which is on the heavy side for a small car like the 202.

I'm canceling the 07/17/10 date as it's just too dad gum hot!!! Even as late as 10:00 PM, it's gonna be 80 degrees! As I post this now it's past 10:00 and it's still 82! The latest forecast is it's gonna be just as bad on Sat. That takes away my whole reason for wanting to do this which was to run in cool night temperatures and get better E/Ts. Let's do the next one!

If someone else besides just me would go I would! No one from here or 500Ecstasy is going, The Tundra hasn't been heard from for a while, and his friends aren't going now. It gonna be 102 tomorrow and no one wants to race now! Even the cool night air I was so looking forward to racing in isn't going to show!

The next date has been set!

They've apparently learned from their past mistakes and are trying to add the add-on dates a little earlier so the turnouts will be better. They've already added a September date http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Tickets-Events/Events/2010/Auto-Club-Dragway/Calendar-of-Events.aspx but they still haven't totally got it right cause they are still forgetting to add the add-on dates to the main schedule page. http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Tickets-Events/Events/2010/Auto-Club-Dragway/Street-Legal-Drags.aspx (Shhh! Don't tell them! We don't want them to fix it cause then too many ricers will show up!)

I realize that Sept. 18 is a 50/50 proposition in that it may be hot but then again maybe not. We'll just have to hope for the best. That time of year though even when it's hot the nights generally cool down very quickly so we should be able to get some good runs in no matter how hot the daytime high is. (You'll note that this is another "Twilight" date.) I'm gonna plan on going to this one no matter what.

Unfortunately, the track hasn't posted and probably won't post the 2011 schedule until December. Don't worry though, cause I'll post an update here when they do...... I always do.

In the meantime, 10/30/10 and 12/04/10 are the remaining dates after 09/18/10

I finally got the car running and 90% dialed in. I will be at Irwindale this Thursday for a couple of runs to get my reaction times down. I definitely want to get some 1/4 mile runs in to see what she can do. If all goes well, I will be out there to make some runs.
