I have a 93 300E 2.8 and I want more power. Here are some things i have thought about doing. porting the head, larger secondary cam, different gears in the rear(3:27 or 3:93 area), header, and of course turbo or laughing gas. I would like a little feed back on what rout i should go. i would like to avoid turbo as much as possible but i have not problem doing it.i do alot of road course's with this car so a turbo really wouldn't play in my favor all the time. my car already have ASR and LS. I

Go with the higher numerical gear ratio as that would give you the maximum seat of the pants performance increase for the minimum cash expenditure.

All else would entail many custom parts and fabrication and much time and cost as there exists next to nothing in aftermarket performance.
