the c240 they tested is a 6 speed manual one.

and na... myy C240 is 5-speed only...
need another one year for a 6-speed... the dealer said, but somehow i saw people driving stick already out there.

Well I'm not in Europe, but I have had my C240 6 speed over 130 for a short stint and it felt really in control. I think the top speed is supposed to be 140 or maybe one or two mph better than that.

When friends ride with me to lunch, it's common for them to ask what size engine is in it. I tell them a 2.6 and they just can't believe it. One of my friends even asked me if it is faster than my Vette.

It's an amazingly fun car to drive.

I have a 2002 c240 stick, 6 speed.

I topped out at about 130, with the digital speedometer on.

I love this car, it's the greatest. If only someone knows where i can get clear tailights and clear side markers.
