Dose anyone know if you can buy a chip or re flash the computer for a 93 2.8L

you have either superchips from the uk, or power chip from downunder. u gain abt 12 hp to 15 i think google them
and keep us posted

Well Jake,

Those are legit ways of making a few more Hp, what those do is just like what eric and i are doing with our cars. Eric with his E400 is fooling the engine temp into reading a lower temp, that inturn forces the ecu to select a more aggressive map for the timing and fuel.

You will need the combo for usd300 because (ask GSXR for confirmation) your car has no throttle enrichment, thus it will always run in closed loop, that means the ecu will detect that the car is running rich on the count of the lower temp reading from the IAT or engine temp sens. thus the ecu will correct the AFR, canceling your previous work ( the chips work)

The difference between those in your link and the ones I mentioned is that, yours and like my and Eric’s trick will only push the ecu to use a more aggressive built in map, ie still stock, ie the car will feel as responsive as when you start it in the morning which aint bad in its self.

The other chips offer a completely new map for fuel and timing at the cost of almost 400 usd IIRC.
