Cool Schrick Cams 2009 catalog + M103 regrinds

Here's the link for Schrick's 2009 catalog.
http://www.avl-schrick.com/dat/MK/Schrick%202009%20E.pdf
I have the Schrick specs for the M103 cam that can no longer be purchased from them. I am having one ground for testing by 11/01/09, also the M103/M104 headers will be available at that time. Enjoy the data.

stock cam specs

The stock cam specs are as follows, intake opens 11.5 degrees (BTDC) and closes 17.2 degrees (ABDC) for a duration of 208.70 degrees. The exhaust opens 18.6 degrees (BBDC) and closes 13.7 degrees (ATDC) for a duration of 212.30. Overlap of 25.2 degrees. Inlet cam has an installed Centerline of 92.85 degrees at(ATDC). The exhaust cam has an installed Centerline of 92.45 degrees (BTDC). I don't have lobe lift dimensions aka cam lift or valve lift fot the stock cam. I do have journal diameter and clearance numbers for standard and oversize cams if anyone wants or needs them.

The SoCal shop I'm using is Clay Smith Cams; These are the Schrick numbers we're going after.
Intake:
272 degree
7.7mm cam lift
11.5mm valve lift.
intake opens 24 degrees before TDC and closes 68 degrees after BDC
valve lift at TDC 1.1mm

Exaust:
268 degree
7.6mm cam lift
11.3mm valve lift
exaust opens 66 degrees before BDC and closes 22 degrees after TDC
valve lift at TDC 1.0mm

Hope this helps.

PS; Schrick allows the stock valve spring to be used in the M102 engine don't know for sure about M103 yet, but you must make sure that you have the chilled cast iron cam/rocker arm pn.103-050-10-33 for the regrind.

Shrick uodate

John, I decided to upgrade the valve springs and I'm currently working with the engineers from Eibach. Unfortunately they can be painfully slow because of limited staff in this department. Some cool products in the valve sproing category and worth the wait. I'll let you know when we come up with our choice.
