Cool Pics of my 2001 E55

Hey guys I have been reading posts at this site for a while and finally registered. Here are pics of my 2001 E55- I know some of you will not like the spoiler or the grille but all comments and opinions are welcome. I apologize in advance for the picture quality and the fact that I pulled these pics from another MBZ Forum .

I chose the wheels because they give my car a more racy look that works with the spoiler. I used to have Brabus Mono V's in the multi-piece format and they just didn't do it for me with this car. I still have those wheels so I can always switch back and forth.

Here is a pic of my car with the Brabus Mono V's:

And here is a pic of my car with 19 inch AMG Monoblocks- I still love these wheels but they are heavy too!!

Vic,

Nice looking car. Of the three wheel choices, I prefer the Brabus look. Although, for the sake of keeping the wheels clean, I am always going to choose the AMG.

Vic, your E55 is one of the nicest E55's I have ever seen. Do you have any idea as to how much lighter the BBS LM's are than the Brabus or AMG rims?

I don't see any listing of the weight in the Brabus catalog with regard to the Mono V. I assume if they are 18 or 19's, they are heavy as sin. It is suggested that BBS wheels are made to be the better, lighter wheels, but I don't see any reference of the LM in their current lineup. It is either a new offering, or they have discontinued it.

The only problem that I have with the BBS is that brake dust is the bane of my auto-owning existence, and those wheels look like a nightmare to keep clean. On the E55, I really like the 18" Brabus Mono V.

You know, I thought the same thing but my detailer tells me otherwise. The BBS spokes are flat and have two sides while the Brabus spokes curve all over the place and my guy was right. I can clean the BBS wheels faster than the Mono-V's. I know it doesnt look like it but its true. A shot of Glass Plus and a towel that's all .

The Grille is not much to my liking, but the wheels! @@ I love 'em BBS LM's...
they are on BBS Co's Japanese website.. I forgot the site, but I fell in love w/ those wheels the moment I saw them..
Nice car!

The wheel sort of makes the Brake Disc stand out doesn't it?
