Looks like the car did what the car was supposed to do...protect you and whomever may have been sitting in the car with you. Hopefully you're OK!

Looks like a doozy! Do you think they'll be totaling the car or are you going to try to get it repaired? Doesn't look to be too much of work to get that thing back up and running. If you're going to part it, I want those fenders. :D

You scavenger! Maybe. Lets see what happens w/ respect to insurance and all. I actually have five of these including these four and my spare.

Airbags deployed. I was alone, leaving work through my favorite scenic route through Patapsco Valley State Park. A branch fell on the windshield/hood and freaked me out. I jerked the wheel and reached for the brake, I guess some kind of evil instinct. Airbags deployed. Between the seat belt and the air bag, my chest and gut had the crap knocked out of them. Still have pain on deep breaths.

Crap...that sucks :-/

I'd do a buy back, it is Fixable.

If you need front end parts we're parting a 500E that was totaled from a side impact.

Insurance company totaled the car. The appraiser saw the air bags and stopped there. Should hear about money tomorrow.

Gosh...that stinks ! You are very fortunate to be (semi-) OK.

My folks live in western Mary-land, yes, them trees have a mind of their own! My old man (84) did an opposite lock slide into some wood in a Volvo last year.

I vote you try to fix it too, Potomac Auto can't be far from you and I know they have .036 bits. :)...it would have to be a labor of love as the love won't be the form of an insurance check though. I actaully have a used front bumper if you decide to fix it up.
