Need more power

I have a 1983 300sd , I love this car BUT this thing needs 50 more hp,I already adjusted the ALDA which helped alot but it is still lagging,Any and all help will be appreciated here.

Adjust the valves, check the cam timing. Get it back to factory specs if it isn't.
