I know a member on this site has an original AMG Hammer, but he has chosen to remain anonymous.

If these owners could provide data on their cars it would be great, no need to provide owner's details if they want to remain anonymous.

How many real 124 6.0 Hammer owners are out there.

I mean the duck tail incorpetated into the deck lid,not bolted on 124 chassis Hammer?

Based on the cars I've seen so far, the DOHC head is about the only thing they all have in common. Low production and very much custom made for each owner. I'm surprised that the majority I've found so far are sedans when I had anticipated most being widebody coupes.

i think the sedans were more popular because they are the ultimate sleeper

The welded ducktail was a Chicago-only thing; Buxbaum himself told me about the guy they used for the welded ducktail, and as far as he knew even Germany wasn't do that kind of work.
