Thanks for posting this! As a former owner of a TE, and having recently seen a new Rentech ultra-modified wagon it’s nice to see the linage of builder vehicles using the MB wagon platform.

Anyone know when the first MB wagon was turned into a hot road wagon??

Hmm... I know there's been a debate on what constitutes a Hammer and what doesn't. This car was modified by AMG in Chicago, it's a 124 with a 6.0 liter conversion - my recollection is that the hammer was essentially the same drivetrain in a sedan. What's the difference?

I wonder if this is the same car on ebay about a year ago, which I think sold for about $10K. I'll have to go through my files.

If that's a current picture of the engine bay, I'm concerned that the self-levelling is way below the minimum mark, and the coolant looks either blue or non-existant.
