I have been working on this since Dec last year and It's ready to roll now. I just bought a 6 speed manual gear box from w203 and see if it fits and install onto my c36. The 6 speed can take more torque than 5 speed so I hope it could hold up the twin turbo power later. I can't wait to Turbo my 36 with 6 speed.

can u advise on the H&R plz, are they stiffer than the stock springs? do they offer a flatter ride in corners?
i need to stiffen up my 95 36 and i have been lost on what i should get.

can i ask you to measure the wire thickness on the front and rear H&R springs.

H&r

H&R is stiffer than Eibach and my Blue H&r is the stiffest spring i could get for w202.

Where do you get this information? Which six speed are you talking about and how can you confirm that the 6 speed is stronger than the Getrag Dog-leg?

6 Speed

I think you got me wrong, i dont have getrag dog leg box. Instead I have the regular 5 speed manual getrag box from c230K installed on my C36. Moreover I said I HOPE the 6 speed can take the torque since I bought this 6 speed getrag box originally from c220CDI and original C220CDI holds 340.0 Nm (251 ft·lb) (34.7 kgm) @ 2000 rpm torque, so this 6 speed can hold more torque than my reg 5 speed manual box.

no problem at all, I am using pad #2 for front and #4 for rear. In fact it looks good sitting right below the fender.

the rear is to low for me, so i might just use the front springs. my car now is on 4bump pad front, 3 bump pad rear stock springs but euro spec springs and u can see my car in my sig below, the front is as low as i would like it. i go on long trips from one country to another in my area and sometimes with 4 up so i can't drop the rear as much.
Any way my car as it is, is stiffer at the rear than any C36 or C43 i have seen. the rear springs have a wire thickness of 15mm which is the thickest i have found on a w202.

i just need to stiffen the front, but if i find the rear springs of H&R will be stiffer then ill figure a way to raise the rear hight.

thanks alot for the help man.

Got it. I was wondering because all the 6 speed boxes I've found in the grand ol' US of A will NOT hold any amount of power a turbo 104 will produce, especially in the heavier 202 chassis (as opposed to the 201)

Stock springs in rear and H&R up front will create some undesirable handling characteristics (some might say dangerous)....common sense dictates that all four of your springs be from the same manufacturer!

good work,
cant wait to see it with the turbos on the c36,
but you will probebly need a stronger clutch for that if you havent already got that,
did you change the rear diff ratio, or run with the taller gearing?
