Appreciate the input. I'll most likely tear open the diff, take some pics, and record part #s on the gearset.
EDIT: Personal experience tells me an 04 c32 diff I had at one point was extremely similar to the 210 diff I have pictured. Size and design. Didn't tear unit open tho to compare. As for the SRT8, I've got that information from a guy who works at a speedshop in Chicago, and has swapped several SRT8 differentials (Charger specifically I believe), and claims that it matches perfectly with what I present. Considering he wedged a c32 engine into an original c240 4-matic car (and retained the 4-matic), I take his word on things ;-) No less, I still appreciate the input. EDIT: Ive got one report of a c55 guy using the QDF9V, while a c32 guy using the 7v. Confused! Last edited by cpbeasley; 04-18-2012 at 12:53 AM. |

Yep, have a Wavetrac in one of my cars. Works great.
Tip for any Wavetrac or Quaife: Use gear oil without friction modifiers. This can be difficult to find, Wavetrac recommends Motul Gear 300 which is a little spendy at $18/liter but works fantastic. And it's very low viscosity at room temp, so it pours like motor oil. P/N 100118 for 75W-90. https://www.jegs.com/i/Moser-Engineering/718/MOT-100118/10002/-1 |
