One of the missing pieces from the AMG 500SEC Wide Body Phönix engine build were the AMG headers. These were removed from the donor and sold prior to securing the vehicle.

Fortunately a fellow pre-merger AMG owner and enthusiast had a set and was kind enough to lend out for the purpose of reproduction.

A premier header manufacture was able to create and produce an exact replica. Jigs are in place for anyone interested in a set.

How much for a set?

What's the value of a set of tri-y's fit for a w126 sedan with downpipes? I have such a set.

The AMG style headers are $995 per ceramic coated set + shipping. 3-4 week turnaround.

MTU if you are referring to OE MB european cast iron tri-y's, I'd value them at $1200-1600 per set as they are impossible to find and becoming quite rare even abroad.

They do occasionally turn up for less.

Hi there: I have a 560SEC Merceds 1988 and been trying to revamp the exhaust to the euro style in order to gain some HP. I saw you quoted $900 for the full set. Are they still available?
