Sure woulda been nice back last year when I had the trany rebuilt Jay! Even though it has new bands/clutches, shift kit & stally added, I still aint game to tramp it from standing start or any harsh down changes due to it's stock build
 I know the components will be pushed to the absolute limit just to hold the power/torque  Just gonna let the power build up.....er.....slowly? Yeah right  How?  But seriously. Would luv to know what a kevlar kit of some sort would set you back? Perhaps long way on in the future if/when I need a fresh rebuild?

Your Auto will out live the car i tell you. it can take some 400+ LBFT and i am sure it will live for some time with that. if u plan on making more just tighten the modulator to max and it will take alot of power. my W124 is still on its original box and internals with some 400000km+ now of which 25000 where turbo, and the rest all is serious no kidding around abuse.

Well that's info to cheer me up what
 Wonder why the trans was in such bad shape when I had it looked @ prior to rebuild? Considering car only has 55k klms on it? Bands were scored & stretched pretty bad. Oh well. It's rebuilt now & from what you say, be good for some time.Jay, I needed this encouragement @ the moment. Thanks
