Modified ignition wire holders

Anyone know where I can purchase the modified ignition wire holders that hold the wires away from the valve cover instead of right on top of it? I have a tough time keeping my wires tucked under that holder, plus I can't imagine a worse place to put the wires than right on top of a piping hot valve cover.

I saw them on Donald Swinford's 300E, but haven't seen them anywhere else, and haven't seen them for sale anywhere.

TIA!

~Paul

What it looks like to me are simple clamps that keep the wires apart. probably found at your local auto parts store or hot rod shop. Or they might just have come with his wires and aftermarket jacobs ignition.

They might also be from a japanese or american car.

Have you checked with the manufacturer of his ignition about them?

It also appears from close inspection that he has wire tied it up to other items ot keep it neat and out of the way and in place.

It appears those holders came with the wires he's using, as they're the same color. He mentioned in another post that he uses thicker ignition wires for better performance (I think) and that they won't fit on top of the valve cover.

I need some new wires anyhow, might spring for a set of those if I can find out the manufacturer.
