Hood finally finished and ready to be fitted to my C124 widebody build..

you are such a tease, you know that, how is your car coming on by the way? loving the vents and the way they are mounted would create a vacuum effect to suck hot air out, nice

June was the second anniversary of the build
This month car will be reassembled in primer, get the equivalent of your MOT, disassemble and paint...
Hoping to be finished by end of summer ?

You may have seen the latest pix..

The car is looking really good. I love the rims with the body. You might have to up the power a little to go with the look. What are you doing for shocks and springs? I have been thinking a lot about shocks recently. I need new ones and want a much better setup. I was thinking about the Ground Control setup for the 190 but I do not care about adjustable everything I was thinking maybe trying the konis or something.

Last dyno run prior to the build was 262HP/302Torque @ 7psi on a Mustang load dyno...
Basically double the output from the base line run...
Mustang reads lower then an inertia type dyno by about 15%...
Power at the crank is AMG 5.4L NA V8 range..

Suspension was done in 2008...H&R springs, Bilstein shocks, front and rear Sportline sway bars...
Suspension works extremely well...
Just added front and rear strut tower braces.

Boost will be played with via a Hallman MBC, probably up to 10psi which should give about a 10% power gain.
Adding water/meth injection to bring charge air temp down, hotter Nology coil and will try Beru S1K silver electrode plug.

Dear Mr.
I would love to follow your step but how do you prevent a water from leaking in to the engine bay if you have to park it outside in a rain storm or even when you wash the car? Do you have some gutter detail around those grill?
Or it not a big deal for the engine? please advise

I'd also be interesting in knowing. Seems like it wouldn't be a problem in motion.

I could see the passenger side dripping water onto the turbos and onto the ground, but the drivers side seems more involved with electronics.
