fuel saver devices

hello evryone

have any of you guys had any experience with fuel saving devices.

there are a couple out there.

one is a spiral thingy that scavenges fuel from the intake plenum.

the other one i have seen is a voltage stabiliser that is supposed to give you better spark.

the other is a magnet that attaches to your fuel line to depolarise the hydrocarbons in your fuel.

i am going to try all of them and see if they worth the hype.

they all promise better throttle response and miles per gallon.

will post my results when i have evrything on and after a full tank of fuel.

i currently get around 600km per tank.

Always go to pueblo.gov for consumer info. There you will find all are a hoax. The only thing that does work is after market chips.

I currently have the neodymium magnet on my windshield washer and it helps dispurse the water particles for improved night rain driving. It really works -- just send me a PM and I'll give you a discount -- Only $60 right now today only.

my definition of a sucker is somebody who doesnt try something for themselves and then passes judgement on it.

if you havent tried it, then you have no qualification to say it works or not.

OK, here's another angle. If any of those gadgets worked, don't ya think all the car makers would put them on at the factory so they could shout from the rooftops about thier 5000lb SUV that does 75mpg??

Give your head a shake

Its www.pueblo.gsa.gov they test these so called gas savers. They do however make the driver concerned with mileage which yields higher mileage.A placebo effect.

The volt stablizer should help all electrical.DC voltage from cars is pretty dirty.Having a clean 12 volt system will make sensor ,computers, fuel pumps, coils, audio and ect. last longer.
Let me know how it goes as I have 2 vehicles I want to install.

i got the volt stabilizer on.

im not so sure about the fuel economy jus yet. but the acceleration is noticeabley stronger. headlihgts are brighter too. and the car doesnt lose power when the aircon is on. dont know how thats possible. im just happy.

what i did find disturbing was that the engine felt rough when warmed up properly. not ping rough. but a little like it. i adjusted the CO richer and now the car feels like a rocket. that strong spark is making good use of the extra fuel.

btw: i was disapointed with the spiral jobby that goes on the intake. it was just a fancy restriction. ah well, you live and learn.

this far, the fuel saving methods that i found really worked was:

- the magnet
- proper tyre alignment
- 125ml benzine and 125ml thinners added to a full(55l) tank of gas.
- using the right grade of oil and keeping your oil filter fresh, maybe even and engine flush at the next oil change.
- not forgetting, good old driving like a grandpa.

happy motoring guys

Forget the Tornado. I listened to Click and Clack on NPR and they recommended it. Bought two and put them on my Land Rovers. I got 11MPG before and got 11MPG after. Absolutely no change and I am out $60. I recommend putting a little extra air in your tires and driving the speed limit. That's the real way to get better gas mileage.

Sounds like you need a new alternator/battery/voltage regulator, not that voltage walletmongerer.
