Guido, they can be on your hard drive, just make sure that the size is what you want and the resolution isn't too high.

I was at the RennTech event at Calabasas a week and a half ago and I asked one of the reps about the Hammer, but he didn't know much about it. He did tell me that he sent out a head gasket for a real Hammer to downtown LA motors a couple of weeks ago because they were working on one.

Beautiful photos Neil...what type of digital camera do you use? I'm looking to buy one for a trip in March.

Regarding the red car...going by the visual features I can see, e.g., stand-up hood star, passenger rear view mirror, add-on trunk spoiler...it might be the standard AMG 5.6 liter 300-series conversion rather than the full-on 6.0 liter Hammer.

Did you happen to see if the engine block was stamped "AMG 6.0", as was applied to those engines?

Cheers,

Does anyone have a paint/color code for this AMG hammer coupe. It is absolutely awesome and I am painting my CE the exact same colour. Anyone?

Thanks and Happy 2005!

I think that is Signol Rot (Signal Red) and I think the color code is 568.

http://www.landiss.com/paintcodes.htm

I think 040 black on a CE would look really sharp.

Dean: "old" Nikon CoolPix 3-megapixel camera in "FINE" mode.

Unfortunately, I did NOT see the AMG stamping. I thought ONLY the 6.0-liters got the DOHC heads ?

Thanks for the color code omegabenz. I surely would have been lost with that many "REDs" within the color chart. I was thinking about the E46 M3's Imola Red too.

Those rims rock! Can we still order them from AMG?

Unfortunately they are discontinued... and have been for some time. These were the "Monoblock I", the previous generation to the current AMG monoblocks.

those rims are rare.... hard to find too.

You see them pop up on ebay once in a while.
