E500 Brake Pads

1992/1994 E500E guys:
What brand of brake pads are you using to get good brake performance, low noise and very low brake dust? There doesn't seem to be too many manufacturers making performance brake parts for these cars anymore.

I've been using Axxis ceramic pads this year and very pleased with braking power and low dust. They tend to squeal at low speeds until warm though.

Akebono's are good. If you want the BEST, Porterfield R4S's.

very little dust and OMG do they STOP.

Hey Jono :-) Just looked at your website for the first time in awhile and boy does it look good! Too bad you are so far away...

BTW, have you had anyone asking about an STS turbo installation for the M119 motor?

Thx Dean.. Yes, it underwent a Major re-vamp.. it got hacked by some a$$hat in turkey so we took that as an opportunity to re-do the whole damn thing :-P

As for STS on a 119, I don't Think anyone has asked me about as much recently, although I do push it's merits on a fairly regular basis..I'd love to do just such an install down here, that SL up in NJ that is thusly equipped makes some Serious power!!

You should come down here for the winter, not nearly as Rough..!!

jono
