1. Good brake=take the whole E320 back & front it is almost a bolt on set it also can fit in the original 15" rim
E320 4pod caliper+bigger disc is perfect for 300E

2. Serious brake= R129500 front+ W140 S280 back some minor adjust will require but it is the cheapest serious brake up grade for W124 but you have to pay the price for that super heavy R129 disc (many people do the aluminum hat)
Add new holding slot to make it fit w124

Grind out the hand brake shoulder

S280 disc ready to fit in

Fixing the caliper height by adding a attached washer

R129 disc with out its hat weight around 5KG plus

R129 disc with aluminum hat weight around 7KG plus

3. Light weight= Willwood 44x44/38x38+ W203 Hi-carbon brembo disc this set up will reduce your un-sprung weight around 4 Kg per wheell compare to the original 300E brake but your brake pad will wear out faster because of the 44x44 piston anyway you will get a racing car brake performance light+firm (am running this setup)

Weight caliper= 1.6/1kg disc=6.5/4.5kg Forge Rim=4.7/5.0 (hehe yes my rim more lighter than the brake disc) This help keep
your tire stick firmly to the road+ better acceleration + longer life for a suspension

almost 20-30 cars in my home town running on those 1-2 setup
am the blacksheep there hehehe

What model/year is your car? An easy swap for the early 12V models is the 24V 4 pot fronts. 300TE rears! I'm yet to locate the rears but have the fronts to go on......
