Just got one of these.

I just got this in. I ordered for myself but ended selling it before I got it for the rally car I work on. PCS - Powertrain Control Solutions - Data Logging
Hooked it up to my car tonight just to test it. Rs232 connection to my Tec3r and can to my tcu. Took maybe ten minutes to configure it to my car. Power ground and some can connections and the rs232 cable. I am going to order another one in for myself. I can not believe that I have been a dealer for these guys for 4 years now and have not gotten one of these. Cannot wait to use the data logger function. Hopefully the track won't yell at me for it being on like my laptop. Besides I can collect data from the transmission and the engine at the same time with a touch of a button. I might get the gps also for better data for the rally car.

does it make it faster? My nitrous kit will have a controller to shoot between 3,000 rpms to 6000rpms.This will help stop wheel spin.

It does not make it faster but it does let you know what is going on and what went wrong. It also has alerts for lean conditions, shift points etc...
As far as a rpm signal just piggy back off the engine rpm signal at the ecu.

So it won't re write govenor.I don't know where my blasted computer is located, and which wire would be rpm.
If you have time tell me please.
Theres 2 different nitrous controllers, one operates of the throttle posistion sensor. The other rpm, which I was thinking would pervent burning rubber.

It is in the box under the hood on the right side with. Where a battery might go.
You will need to get a wiring diagram. There are several computers in there. The ECU will say ME something 6cyl. It will also have a part number on it.

if your car isnt shiny, you dont know what you are talking about, remember; paint shine = knowledge. In order to be taken seriously, you should spend all your money on paint, (and get a dyno reading).
Dont forget to polish it often

I can not tell if you are asking about the nos or the dash logger. But you could use both.
The logger has analog inputs that can be wired up to your stock sensors. You can use a innovate lc-1 on the serial interface connection. And add as many features as you want.
