500SEL rear brake caliper noise
The left rear caliper on my 1985 500SEL rattles, it is bolted tight to the plate but the plate has some play in it. Not sure what supports it and keeps it tight. I was forwarded a gif file showing the rear set up but it doesn't give the best information as to how it all goes together. If anyone knows what is most likely culprit or has an idea of how the rear calipers are held to the rear, would appreciate any information.
Thanks, Douglas C |

jo brakes
well what I've done is i have upgraded to all disc. I have a friend who works at a junkyard and he's the kind of guy who if he needs a part, he'll make it. He has a full machine shop and i said, i can't deal with the drums anymore and he made me some discs. He mostly works on ceramic brakes and that such but i've never had a trouble with my new disc's tell me what state you're in and I'll see if i can't run a brakeman's phone number by you
