I want to install m104 (92)engine to m103 (88)manual transmission

the m103 flywheel fits into m104 engine without mods ?

the m103 1988 2.3L flywheel is single or dual mass ?

since I will use carbs, i dont need flywheel crank sensor

I do not know about the dual or single mass flywheels but others may know. But you still need a crank sensor to run the spark. The 3 weights are set up to trigger at the correct points for phase on the engine.

88 Cars in this country should be single mass. It should fit no problem. Is that the flywheel that came with the transmission?

You'll still need some kind of sensor or other option to trigger the ignition.

thanks,
yes i will use megajolt with crank pulley sensor

i cant found manual trans flywheel, then if the m103 single mass fits to the m104, this expands the posibilities.

"some mods improve your car and make it into something it never was, other mods, however, although essentially the same, are not, and make that car a ricer"

if your car isnt shiny, you dont know what you are talking about, remember; paint shine = knowledge. In order to be taken seriously, you should spend all your money on paint, (and get a dyno reading).
Dont forget to polish it often

M103 manual flywheel will fit into an M104 + manual trans application.

HOWEVER, 2.3L is an M102, the flywheel from which will need to be modified.
So do you have an m103 (6cyl) or m102(4cyl)?

I found a 1988 m102 trans with overdrive with flywheel, pressure plate, trow out bearing, clutch disc and starter
I already bought the megajolt system, that uses a crank sensor at crank pulley. for ignition.

I hope m102 flywheel singlemass, fits m104 engine without mod

let me know

thanks
