all turbos guys with a 100 added rwhp

I read somewhere on this forum that someone with extra hp screwed his ASR up,and has only two gears. Is it true the extra ponies screw with the ASR.
I drive with mine off,but I heard its never truely off.

Some ASR systems will brake the slipping wheel. Too much umph on one of those may cause problems with the engine and brakes fighting for control.

thanks Dux,so you remain in boost during gear changes? What I trying to figue out does the turbo take you to rev limiter a pause then shift.

I lift to get an upshift before the limiter, and blow off the boost when I lift. I'm on the ragged edge of not having enough fuel for the amount of boost I run so I don't spend much time near the red line. Once I get my timing retard box I'm gonna get more aggressive with it. Still, it's a daily driver and not a race car so being able to rev it hard isn't my first priority. I'm more about good boost down low.
