Doc or anyone please help! Sway bars>>>>

I just got of the phone w/ fastlane part shop and got some part number which i will use to order from fast lane later. I took the part numbers to my local shop and he repeately said it may not fit and will not attemp the install unless he knows its for sure.

Im trying to install the Sportine sway bars on my 93 300E. I would like less body roll w/ out the drop in ride height.

Are these parts a DIRECT bolt on WITHOUT any other mounts or brackets or cutting or drilling?

Is this all the parts thats REQUIRED for the sway bars mounting?

I will print your responce and show it to my local shop.

Rear sway 124 326 1965 (1)
Rear sway bushing 124 326 0181 (2)

Front sway 124 323 6865 (1)
Front sway inner bushing 124 323 4585 (2)
Front sway outer bushing 124 323 5185 (2)

PS... my local shop does very good work and they are all benz certified. But they dont like to do upgrade work that they are not 100% sure off because they are so busy doing regular repair work.

thanks for your help.

PBL,

These parts numbers match what I have ordered for the sportline upgrade for my W124 (300CE).

Seems complete with respect to the swaybars, front and rear.

These bars are DIRECT bolt-ons! No modification needed

Print out JCE's Install on his 300e. it is in the cars section of this site.

http://www.peachparts.com/sportline_suspension.htm

Here is the link.

If that doesn't convince them its a direct bolt on, I don't know what will.

Alon
