Help! my 190E 2.3 8V is DEAD!

Hello everyone, I recently got my car towed for driving while suspended, uninsured and unregistered (I know, I know, I've been a bad boy) and it was in the tow yard for seven (7) days while I made bail and made things right. It was lift-towed (Front tires lifted off the ground) when I was arrested, but flatbed-towed when delivered back to me. Here's the detail, now my car wont run. It is not my fuel pump or relay as those are new, so let me explain further. In the engine bay, I hear a loud noise of air being sucked and the engine dies out fairly quickly after that. The tow guy said it could easily be a vaccum leak, and he said maybe something's wrong with my intake manifold or its gasket. If anyone out there can lend a virtual hand, I would be most grateful and appreciative. Thanks in advance for any subsequent posts.

There is a hose under the intake that connects to the lower portion of the air metering housing. The one end is blown off. I have seen this a number of times. One end is connected to the idle air valve and the other to the air housing. It is hard to see, so keep looking, it is there.

You are an absolute genious! That solved my problem completely, the car is now running EXACTLY as it was before being towed....You are a very skilled, as well as talented mechanic, and I have now made it one of my official future upgrades to take the car down to your new shop for a once over and some advice....You have gained my respect and trust as a Mechanic...Thanks Benzmac!
