Custom turbo or TDI kit?
 

One day i will eventually end up with the turbo stroker kit from bekkers for my 2.3 16V and when that time comes I am going to need to decide between the TDI turbo kit that will have to be adapted to custom throttle bodies and for high boost, or going to a turbo shop and having a custom turbo built. What do you guys think? What will be more cost effective and what will be of better quality? Anything helps...thx

I would say, get another car. You could change cars and end up with a much better combination than trying to soup up a 8v 190.

If you love the 190, why not purchase a 16v? You should come by my shop and look around....and talk to me.

I have already planned to drop a 16V motor in the car not too far ahead in the future and do a custom engine management system. I have that pretty well planned out so far, so once that goes in...i will be in buisness. For now, lets just pretend i already have this motor in the car. I would love to come and visit your shop sometime though, and maybe you can have my buisness. I am a 16 year old with limited funds though so i would keep that in mind.
