Pardon me guys,I have a M104 in a 99 s class i had installed. It was a older engine that had a throttle cable,my mechanic changed it to mky drive by wire system. But the throttle feels wierd. Its like I have dead places in the pedal, and it will feel like its fuel starving. But if you stomp it full power.

Did the problem occur pre motor swap?

Put a light on the cam actuator and resonance flap and see if they work.

The crankcase needs to be sealed and all air accounted for, it you have any thing going to atmosphere post MAF, it can cause a problem.

See if the injectors on the original motor are the same as used motor.
