2006 c230 BraBus

I see that there is a 2006 C230 Brabus Benz for sale near me. Can any tell me what the performance upgrades may be?

There is a BRABUS emblem on the left rear of the car rather than the C230 emblem.

The sell briefly discribe the car as follows:

BRABUS ADJUSTED 'lowered, improved motor, improved paint job A/C ice cold, All scheduled maintenance, All records, Custom paint/graphics, Custom wheels, Excellent condition,

The mileage is 95K, it is a 4 door sedan, and has manual transmission.

Thanks in advance.

My guess is the only thing brabus branded on it is the badge, but my money would be a knockoff from eBay at that. Link?

Well, that wasn't too hard to find. I see... knockoff ebay grille (could just be painted black, judging by the chips all over it), poorly plasti-dipped stock w203 wheels (most definitely not custom), a few stick-on pedals that need to be adjusted, and quite possibly the cheapest pep boys spoiler available. The "improved paint job" makes me wonder what it was like before they put vinyl all over it.

TC,

You found the listing. Thanks for the input. That spoiler belongs on a circus wagon!!!!

Where there many manual transmission C230 imported?

I am keeping an eye out for a car in that price range for occasional track days at Mid-Ohio and be a driver. Everyone talks about BMW's but I have had Benz car for many years. Is there a non AMG model that would make a good fun track car with a few brake and suspension mods?

Dan

Whoever owns that car has no idea what it is or is a liar. Its been on CL for over a year now, they listed it last year for... $25,000.

Look into SLKs, a friend of mine who lives in Columbus has an SLK32 he autocrosses and used to run at mid ohio when MBCA did more track days. The SLK is not my favorite car but its a competitive chassis.

I would agree with the slk, I am not sure on numbers with the manuals but I imagine most were auto. Why no amg by the way? Also I would not count out bmws, they are on a different level when it comes to driving experience IMHO.
