Looking for a 5-speed tranny from a 300CE

I am looking for a 5-speed tranny off a 300CE i believe that it was. It is the car with the 24 valve engine in it. I have not been able to locate one and i need one to reinforce for my buildup that i am doing right now. If anyone has any suggestions of where i could look for one...please reply...

The 300ce in the US did not have a manual tranny. I believe they were all 4 speed autos.

You might need to check yards in europe for possible used trannys. Not sure. good luck on yoru search though.

the 300e had a 5 speed in some years, not sure which years exactly, but I know there were some in 1986, possibly 1988.

If your doing a tranny change, then use the 5-speed from a 190E 2.3-16v. They were Getrag sourced, and easily handle 300 lb.ft. of torque. Perfect for any MB job, easy bolt up to many m103 and m104 engines, and one of the better trannys made.

Might want to think about that. If your looking for a 5-speed auto, then sorry I think ur only hope is the S320 then. Good Luck.

Another possible option is early R129 300SL convertibles. They are rare, but could be ordered with 5-speed manual transmissions in 1990 and 1991.

I believe those are the same getrag sourced trannys in the 2.3-16v, use the same clutch too if I'm not mistaken.
