2 Unique Engine Swaps into 107's
I had a friend come and visit today. He drove his car from San Diego CA to Summerfield NC. About 3000 mile each way and this is the 3rd time he's made the trip.
Mach4 drove his diesel powered 380SL to my house and today we finally got pictures of two 2 uniquely different 107 engine swaps side by side. For those of you who have not seen these the builds for each car is presented here. 380SL Diesel Conversion Project http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/performance-paddock/178997-m120-into-560sl-pictures.html Today both of these cars have met there ultimate objectives. In true diesel fashion Mach4's diesel 107 has logged ~ 75,000 miles in about 3 years. With an almost 2 years of in the storage unit after a move from CT to NC the M120 powered 560SL (Samson) returns to service as a daily driver and ultimate highway cruiser Today we got pictures of them side by side.

Both awesome cars for oddly separate reasons. I can only imagine how different each car feels.
As an aside would you happen to know how challenging a 120 into a 126 would be? I only ask since your 107 was so well documented.

Samson has been kind of in storage during my move to NC and building of my garage. The garage is done and Samson is back on the road.
