Hey guys been a while since i`ve been up here. I`m glad to see the building`s finshed. But anyway just got one simple question for you guys. What sites do you guys recomend for a fellow like me with a S420 looking for aftermarket goodies.

I have a 99 S420 and loving it. I wouldn't try to tune this engine because it far to easy to mess it up than primping it up. If you want performance try using some 100 octane fuel in your gas tank. Our cars have an exotic compression ratio of 11.0:1 (E55 is 10.5), with some high octane fuel you will get some additional power while cleaning the engine. If you want to spend big bucks, I would try a Brabus 6.5 liter conversion if I had 40k to burn. There are no Kleemann options for our car but I think Koenig does supercharge this engine for 8k but I would reccomend lowering the compression ratio before attempting to superhcarge a 11.0:1 car on pump gas (91 I assume). The car weighs 4500 lbs so dont expect any E55 numbers w/o a 6.5 conversion or supercharger. Some companies do make oversized air boxes for the car. $599 for no name brands 1k for Renntech CF getup but if you dont want to spend that money, take a rotary tool and drill out the intake flaps that block the airflow on your grill. Chips will give you some hp but still I wouldnt mess around with such a delicate setup. Be prepared to be on the search for mechanics to fix this car because 75% dont know anything about how to fix it.

Go get a oversized intake box and run high octane fuel. Use a ITG filter. Be aware of K&N because it allows more gunk to get in your engine.
