a420 PCV? breather hose oil
 

OK... Someone said that the S420 (1997) doesn't have a PCV valve, but does have a PCV hose. Which would be the rubbery hose going from above CYL 4 to the intake (just below the MAS), yes?

I replaced mine about two months ago, the one that was there could have been the Pope (because it was so holy). So the other day I was driving and noticed a significant odor of burning oil - for about 30 seconds - then it went away didn't smell oil at all again, until the next day when it does it again, and now after driving for about 10 minutes I smell oil for a few moments then it goes away. I discovered that there is oil leaking from this hose, onto the intake manifold, and burning.

So, how do I fix that? I would say its a bad PCV - but there isn't one in this car (unless I was lead astray). Thanks for your help!
