Smile New E500 Pics!

Buying a really sweet 50mm f1.4 lens off eBay for my Canon T70 was all the excuse I needed to take some new pics of the E500. What do you think?

Well actually it was after drooling over your car for so many weeks that I decided to take the plunge and buy my 500e...Your site is the best one dedicated to those marvellous cars on the net. Period.

The wheels, the paintwork, everything...I hope that someday I'll bring mine to the same sort of perfect condition.

Congrats on your beautiful ride Dean, I mean it!!

Dean

I have always admired your car and your devotion to the 500E-E500.

No doubt, that many of us have taken your advice to make upgrades and modification to our dream machines. Thanks!!

Very Nice Pic’s!!

Ricardo

Beautiful composition and depth.

Too bad in order to make the picture "net friendly" you had to compress it. All the door outlines have jaggies.

How about a link to some hi-resolution pictures?

Dean- are you going to run the Silver State Gold Rush or Challenge this coming September?

Take care,
:-) neil

Greetings Neil:

Those pics were scanned at "consumer grade" resolution onto a CD by a local chain store. The "professional grade" scans are 4x more expensive. I have the negs and will likely make prints - my preferred medium.

Diane and I want to try the new Gold Rush this September. I'd better make hotel reservations soon!! How about you?

I liked the Gold Rush, but everyone said the "narrows" of the Classic is a must.

Most likely we will do the Gold Rush, if we can find a sitter at the event.

Neil: Diane and I have registered for the Gold Rush. Have a room at the Ramada Copper Queen. Giddy Up Go!

Thumbs up

Nice
What can I say? That wheels really stand out and match with the extra wide fender.
