performance for fuel savings too
My son bought a Mazda 3, with the 2.5 skyactive motor. What thrills me is it is 13.1 compression,but burns 87 octane fuel.
They quickly cool down the cylinders with 2 into 1 headers.By getting the gases out the cylinder cools to stop detatnation.. Wonder if this could be appilied with forced induction? |
It gets away with that compression ratio because of the precise fuel control of direct injection.

i understand too,they don't suffer with clogged injectors like other D.I. motors.wonder what different?
