Talking NOS Prep

I did a search on this and i came up with nothing. So, if anyone here wanted to put NOS in there car (prefrebly a 300E) and keeping the shots down to around 10hp per cylnder (total of 60hp). What would you do to Prep your car for NOS? Are there any specific parts you should change/upgrade?

Thanks in Advance?

Nitrous on a 300E!?

try searching N20 or nitrous also....

email me any specific questions about NOS-ing your 300e it is CIS so there are some fuel issues you will have to deal with.

NOS N20

As long as you have the right amount of fuel you will have no problems. 60 HP on your engine is not to much of a jolt on the engine. I would start to worry at 120 HP.....consult an expert in your area there are a lot of them in California!

Where to start.

Start with this list. You can go down this list and call these places.

http://www.europeancarweb.com/tech/0501tech1.shtml

You will need to find a shop willing to work with you. So call them and ask for the supercharging expert. Powerdyne is a decent unit, you could call them and ask them if they know who could do it or help you do it. Plus they are not too far from you. Call the BMW shops also. most of them work on Mercedes also.

Try also Eddie at Dynamic Autosports, I think they are near Torrance. He knows a lot of fabricators.

is powerdyne an american supercharger company?

another, possibly stupid question, hypothetically speaking, with supercharger installed...is it a given that my gas mileage will plummet from being a crappy 16 mpg to ???

Powerdyne

The Powerdyne I was talking about is in Lancaster, near Mojave.
a little over an hour outside of LA.

POWERDYNE(TM) Automotive Products

Lancaster, CA 93535 USA

I used a Powerdyne belt unit on a BMW M3 and it was very quiet
and compact. The pulley on the unit is about 3" diameter. The Vortech and Paxton have a slight whine to them.

Your fuel economy depends on the mods you make and the way you drive it. If you drive it the same as you did before the supercharger then your fuel economy will be better because you will be operating at lower RPMs. If you put that supercharger to the test though, you won't gain anything.
