Has anyone put the Honda H22A's con rods to M103 or M104 to lower the compression ratio? (for turbo or supercharge purpose) Does it need any modifications?

why not custom headgasket? m104 rods can hold 600hp.

From what I recall, the H22 type rods were used when a longer stroke crank is installed with stock pistons. I'm thinking that anyone that has done this uses aftermarket H22 rods not stock.

I pulled a set of H22 rods out of what appeared to be a running engine, one is bent and there is no sign why it is bent. The engine was in a plain non modified / non turbo Mom and Pop car.

@OldSinner111 about how much does a custom gasket run? I will be building a M104 for boost at some point (likely a few years away).
