Great looking car! I was wondering if you've noticed any power gains with your cold air venting. I've often wondered about the effectiveness of the stock M119 intake.

Nice 500E

Man, that car looks great. I think rims would be the next thing that you should get.

In fact I have two sets of rims that will fit a 500E.

Antera 163 18s with pzeros and I might sell my AMG Hammer wheels if you are interested. Another member has them on his 500E.

If you want, I can make billet headlight inserts because I have a machine shop at my house. (Put a college guy through college =))

I really like your car, when I graduate college IM going to buy a 500E.

Fantastic car!!!!

Sure would have liked one like that!

But alas, I drive a more modest W124 to work every day...

That said, the chrome 8-holers do well for me w/o problems...

Check out my Daily Driver

I'm no different than you guys. I only get to feel the flavor of the 500e on the weekend or on a quick jaunt to see/be seen. I too must "suffer" in my daily driver just like everyone else.

Here's my daily driver

aldedmon, I didnt realize that you had two 500e/e500s. Yeah I remember takling to you about your hammer rims. They are pretty nice looking on your car. I have michelin pilot sports on mine though. How do you like your tires? THe pilots arent as predictable as PZeros.

I can't get the links to your red 500E to work now. It says your photo album is empty.

Pilots=Pricey

I like the Kuhmo's for the $$. They're reasonable and quiet and have a wear rating of ~320. Over all a pretty great tire. When the time comes to replace wheels/tires on the 500e, I may just spring for the Pilots though, as I have heard that they are indeed a tremendous tire

I actually have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S thats their all season tire. They are great. They have a tread wear of 400, AA, A. I cant wait to test them in the snow and the ice. I hope I don't hurt my car in the process. I am a michelin man, so its hard for me not to buy michelin eventhough im only 19. LOL.

Omegabenz I combines the photo sites of my cars in to one.
see my www. below this post.
The Black car is a 400e which has a face lift to resemble the e500.
It has a really modified suspension and now rides, performs, handles great

Aldedmon: Thanks for the pics...I've been wondering what a ducktail would look like on my E500 and yours looks great! Where did you get the part and how much?

Duck Tail

From what was then AMG NA in Chicago(92). I bought it(~$500-$750 can't remember and I got the wheels form signature(~$350ea) products(93) and then I Got the AMG rear apron(~$1000) and my AMG front spoiler assy(~$1000) from Renntech (94). But today, you can get all you AMG accessories(except those particular wheels) from your local MB dealer. They started selling AMG accessories and I did have a catalogue which I got from the parts counter ~96 which had AMG gear for the 190, W124, and W129(SL). So yeah, give them a shot. If the idoiot parts guy says he can't find info on AMG parts, don't give up, try another dealer. If that fails, Email me or contact MB of Houston Greenway Plaza(I know they have ONE copy that they keep in a safe place and ask for Jeff) and tell them that you heard that they had a copy of the AMG catalogue and you need part numbers cause you're out of town, or order from them
