As I mentioned above, I’ve got the w201 front shaft and 260e rear shaft. I’d kind of think that would be a factory option for you too.
I did, I actually ordered a 140.033 front shaft off eBay. It's a bit too short, and has a 4" bolt circle flex disk. I have a manual transmission driveline from a w124 260E that is the correct length, but it has a 3" bolt circle flex disk, and a much smaller slip yoke in the middle. I have a 3.6 to put into this car, so I decided not to swap out my trans and diff flange just to break the driveline. I'm going to get my original driveline with the 3.5" bolt circle flex disk extended 2.25 inches. This has been the most frustrating part of this swap. I wish I would have just bit the bullet and had it done to begin with.

So you are assuming that the 3.6 would break the smaller drive shaft.

It sounds to me like maybe you’ve got bigger yokes on the trans and diff than the yokes from your 260e drive shaft.

Am I following your logic?

(I just in the last few minutes got my wagon to my home, and think my manual swap issue is the CPS tabs missing from my flywheel. But I’m quite a way off from even thinking about starting on a manual swap in that car.)

Yeah the 260E driveline is tiny in comparison. I don't see the point in sourcing yokes, and flex discs to use that driveline.

I had to modify my flywheel segments, and add a magnet to get my car to run properly.

Yeah. It sounds like I might get the segments cut from an automatic flex plate/torque converter setup and welded onto my little 1985 190e 5-speed flywheel.
