Am I jealous!

I'm just grateful that I don't live anywhere near Donnie's shop!

I'd be spending so much money on performance / suspension upgrades that my wife would probably throw me out of the house.

I have little self-control when it comes to my car...

Kleemann Experience "Part 2"

Well Donnie has talked me into a Kleemann Kompressor upgrade on my E430. The Kleemann Sport Suspension was one great addition, now on to the Kompressor......stay tuned

Well, the "BEAST TO-BE" is in the shop getting Kleemannized! Donnie (Benzmac) takes great care with his cars to ensure a perfect install. This is day 2 and I am getting anxious to go by and see how it is going. I had the Kleemann suspension installed last month and was more than totally satisfied. I will post another message once I pick her up and take her for a spin.

Richard,

When Donnie gets your Kleemann install completed, will you have an Atlanta get together (mini tech-session) so we can gawk at your updated toy?

We could meet at a parking lot/donut shop/Hooters, etc.

Well I got it back today. In Monday A.M. out by Tuesday P.M. Donnie did one fantastic install. You would never know that it didn't come from the factory with the Kleemann installed.

Now for the goods. My already peppy '01 E430 is now a totally different monster. Turn off ESP and you better hold on as it will smoke the 235/45 Michelin Pilot Sport's until you give up. I don't think I have every felt this kind of power but still completely controllable. Donnie showed me the comparisons of HP and Torque side by side of an E55 AMG and guess which one has more HP and Torque? Well I'll tell you it is the E430 w/Kleemann. Fitted with the Kleemann full suspension package I now have an E55 AMG killer. I will post the number for HP and Torque tomorrow for you all to see.

By the way I must give Donnie very high marks for his craftsmanship and talent.

Steve, I would love to have a doughnut, and maybe do a few, someday soon.

Just don't try to take on that sleeper "Kleemanized" CLK55 Donnie did in February.

I forgot to come back and post some numbers after being Kleemannized.

Dyno Results:
Before the Kompressor

At the Wheels
223 HP 233 Torque

At the Crank Shaft
279 HP 291 Torque

After The Kompressor

At the Wheels
341 HP 325 Torque

At the Crank Shaft
426 HP 406 Torque

Now That I have the power and the Kleemann suspension the only upgrade I need Donnie to install is a seat belt harness to hold me in the seat when cornering.

OK, so now I've completely given up putting the turbo on my 1993 CE and am holding out for a newer car I can Kleemanize! Between Southern Gent's Kleeman 430 and el presidente's CLK 55 there's no way I'm going to try an upgrade of my coupe. It's a great car, but I'm drooling over the numbers I've seen lately.

I've even tried staying away from the site to avoid hearing about everybody's newest goodies. But who was I kidding, like any of us can really stay away! It's an addicition.

Now the only question left is who's going to take me in (el presidente? southern gent?) when my wife throws me out later this year?

You're not making this any easier posting pic's and numbers for the CLK 55 and the E430. I'll just have to start saving my pennies.

Of course all this makes you wonder what would happen if you Kleemanized an E55................
