Sorry, but that Ferrari red dog kennel is just too over the top.

Car's fine though!

Where's the kennel going? On the car roof?

Extreme E500: two questions:

1) how hard is it to retrofit those W210 blinking mirrors? In other words, what was the process? I take it they didn't just bolt-on.

2) please contact me, via PM. I'd like to talk to you about properly painting a 500E.

Thanks,
:-) neil

well for the mirrors it took me abt a month to figure out. of and on..

first i got a regular e320 mirror, because i didn't want to spend 1k on mirrors that i might not use..then as i said before my uncel owns a mercedes junk-yard..(this is where i did all my custom work, ie..shaved doors, shaved rear antana, custome trunk light, shaved hood, and trunk emblems, shaved rear quarter-panels and of course the mirrors.....I worked with him for over 2 years too at the shop..

1) I cut out the mirror bracket off a 01' E-klass that was sitting around at the shop ...

2) then i bolted the mirror into the cut bracket.

3) I had my uncel hold the mirror with bracket on the car while i sat inside my car..(the mirror was set dead center-and my seat was set to standard possition too).. then i would check if the mirrors sat stright...

4) then with days and nights of cutting and welding..(didn't sleep two days..because i was welding w/o the shield at 2am ...i was crying for hours )

5) then after the mirror was perfactly in its position, i welded it tight..then by welding i molded the shape to my door and the bracket...giving it a almost perfact shape.

6) in the end I had left barely enough room to puddy, for a smooth look-I didn't want to have to much space for puddy because i hate using it..we calle it "Micky Mouse job," when someone uses too much Bando..its not good.. and wala...i was done now

but now i have no idea how on earth to connect the damn wires to my original mirror wire harnest..

basically this was it..but its just alittle bit harder done the said...trust me..
